Karen Velleman M.A., CCC-SLP has been a Speech-
Language Pathologist in the Greater Hartford, CT area for
over 13 years. Her experience is primarily in the area of
adult neurological disorders including diagnoses of
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), stroke, Cerebral Palsy,
dementia, Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis. She
can address speech, language, cognitive and swallowing
disorders in these populations and has a special interest in
Augmentative Alternative Communication devices (AAC), as
